All winners of Battle Phase #5 have been awarded their prizes. Congratulations to the winners!
The EverWars Store is back online though will continue to monitor it to make sure everything is working. Fortunately, we have very detailed logs for the store system.
The explorers of Aganon have sent word that they have discovered the ruins of the Kingdom of Kharn. Kharn is the second of the lost Twelve Kingdoms to be found in recent months. As with the discovery of the Kingdom of Drynn, the explorers have located a large cache of scrolls and items that are being distributed and shared among the blacksmiths and scholars of Aganon. Several hundred new weapons, spells, armor pieces and more are already finding their way into the markets. These items are very powerful and are sure to be desired by the bravest warriors of Aganon.
The following updates are now live:
Battle Phase #5 has ended and the winners should receive their rewards very soon.
Battle Phase #6 has started and all previous battle logs have been reset.
UltraRare items have returned to the in-game shops though not as abundant as before.
Armor caps have been increased for all classes.
Regular recruitment rewards are being awarded again. The recruitment system was always operating correctly so no recruitment points were lost because only the recruitment rewards system was taken offline.
October 14, 2008 - Adjustment to Battle Phase #4 Prizes
Unfortunately, the prizes for Battle Phase #4 contained incorrect stats. They were supposed to provide +30 masteries not +40 masteries. This is being corrected now.
I apologize for the short downtime but it was necessary to ban a couple of users who were taking advantage of an exploit in the game. I also put in a couple of routines that should prevent most everpoints related exploits from happening in the future.
As for the Battle Phase #4 awards, they will be announced tomorrow.
We apologize for the short downtime but it was required to fix a problem that had been occuring over the last several hours.
A major bug was found in the new recruitment system that was causing the servers to get overloaded making some users unable to login and the site slower than normal.
To get EverWars back online we have temporarily disabled the awarding of recruitment rewards until we are able to resolve this problem.
During this period, players will not receive recruitment rewards but all recruits will still be tracked and the awards queued. When the recruitment system problem is fixed, all queued recruitment prizes will be awarded.
